The free Web preview also lets you try the extra features. Browser and Android saves stay separate: there is no automatic cloud sync or Web-to-Android transfer.
Before you settle in
What needs an internet connection?
The Android garden and replies run on your device. Purchases, restoration and purchase checks require a connection to Google Play. The Web preview needs WebGL and an initial connection to load.
What happens to my saved garden?
Your name, settings, Field Notes and album are saved on the device where you play. Clearing app or browser data can remove those saves. Save favorite pictures to your device before clearing data or uninstalling. There is no automatic cloud backup.
Does the conversation translate real birds?
No. Chirps and short replies are make-believe, for play. They do not translate a real bird's thoughts or language.
Can I use it on my device?
The Android app supports Android 9 and later, in English and Japanese. Google Play shows availability for your device and region. A Japan price example does not guarantee availability in every country.
